The Metal Monster is a 1920 science fiction and fantasy novel by American author Abraham Merritt. The story follows botanist Dr. Walter T. Goodwin, who travels to the Himalayas and discovers a mysterious alien civilization of living, geometric metal creatures ruled by an enigmatic woman named Norhala.
