Goblin Market (1862) is a narrative poem by Christina Rossetti about two sisters, Laura and Lizzie. When Laura gives in to the goblins' hypnotic fruit and begins to waste away from addiction and grief, her sister Lizzie bravely endures the goblins' abuse to bring her a healing antidote.
